KEY HOLDING |
Guidelines issued by the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) Association of British Insurers (ABI) KEYHOLDERS RESPONSABILITES At least two key holders must be available for emergency 24-hour response. They must be contactable by telephone 24-hours a day. They must reside within twenty minutes traveling time of the premises. They must be able to provide their own transport. They must be familiar with the premises and the alarm system. Failure to comply with these conditions may invalidate your insurance. When your alarm sounds in the early hours of the morning whom does your central station contact? Stealth Security will guaranteed a response that meets the allotted attendance time to your premises by a uniformed driver, and dog if required, in a marked vehicle. Your keys will be unmarked and the service fully insured. If your alarm needs an engineer reset, we will liaise with the alarm company and remain on site until the engineer arrives. Upon our arrival, we will inspect the exterior of the building for signs of break-in and, if none are vi sable, we will enter using your unmarked keys and silence the alarms. If signs of a break-in are noted we will summon the police and await their arrival. The nominated client contact will be notified in these circumstances immediately, and boarding up service can be arranged by Stealth Security. |
